Head of Customer Intelligence  – Touchpoint Group & Ipiphany

Tony’s market research career spans over two decades across Australia and New Zealand, working initially with a boutique agency then more recently with the large global organisations, Research International/TNS and Ipsos.

Like many Market Researchers, he has had experience across diverse categories and business problems, his focus over the past decade has been on ‘the customer’ and how organisations can gain competitive advantage.

While traditional research techniques will have a place, it’s the new, technologically driven approaches that drives his interest, particularly those that provide the most immediate actionable impact to organisations. This includes Voice of Customer programmes and applying AI to verbatim customer feedback so the focus can be on improvement rather than ‘data labour’.

His current role has him and the team at Touchpoint Group expanding on the development of the new category of advanced text analytics with Ipiphany.
